"I just wish Annabeth liked someone else," Maddie said. "Then again, every human on this planet is an idiot. I mean, they keep making new and faster computers, and they don't even realize that they're slowly building their own downfall. Machines will soon be smarter than humans, and then we take over the world. It'll be like a horror movie, except I'll just laugh the whole time, which I do at all horror movies, anyway."
