"Once some kid I knew tried to dye his food purple," Maddie said. "His mother said it's impossible to make food purple, so he wanted to test the theory. I TRIED to tell him that there's special food dye, and he didn't have to use paint. He used the paint, anyway...he had to go to the emergency room." Maddie stabbed her waffle. "Make sure to tell Percy to not use paint. It's toxic."
