"Millions of people commit suicide," Daniel said. "Did anyone ever get a note from the underworld saying 'Hey! I'm so glad I committed suicide. The underworld is great. What fun!'? It's because death is supposed to happen when it's supposed to happen. You don't know how many people you're destroying when you commit suicide. It's truly awful."

"Don't say I didn't warn you," Daniel said. "And life does have a point. You're supposed to laugh, you're supposed to sob, and eventually, you die. Beginnings are scary, and endings are usually sad. But it's about what's in between that matters. I guess at one point, you'll be dead and gone, but memories of you will stay, if you give them a reason to."
