Tabby nodded. "I never told you, but when I was little, my Dad died. He was the best thing in the world. And then, Tapanga locked herself in her room with the most complex locks that even the police couldn't get her out. So...they left her and threw me in a orphanage. I was so sad. I cried myself to sleep every night. And then..." she paused. "I thought, 'What point is there to living?' But...then I came to Camp Half Blood. I met you and Annabeth and I found Tapanga. And I met Justice. It was the happiest moment of my life. Meeting you guys."

'Listen.' she started writing. 'If you are blocking most of us out for a reason, we'd like to know.' She read what she was writing so Celeste could hear. 'We want to help. Just like with Maddie. Why are you doing this? We're your friends and we love you.'

Tabby felt really good as she fell asleep right next to Maddie...but that good feeling didn't last for long.
She was dreaming that she was in Medea's Store with Aphrodite. "Do all dreams with you start here?" she asked, thinking of Piper's dream. Aphrodite laughed. "No, not all. But listen here, bad things are coming your way." Tabby's heart thudded. "What sort?" she asked. Her mom frowned. "You'll lose a friend on your quest. You'll be cursed and injured. A betrayer is in your midst." Aphrodite listed. Tabby questioned her, "What quest? I don't have a quest! What kind of curse? How badly?" Mom frowned again and sighed. "I cannot tell you. But be aware of this. Your dream is running out. You will soon wake up..."
Tabby woke up screaming.
