Celeste looked out her window and saw the Nemean Lion. She grabbed her bow and arrow and chased after it.

The Lion continued to run after Annabeth, and it soon led her right to a cliff. Annabeth kept running, though, but she stopped when she got to the edge. The Lion crashed into her, and they both fell over the side of the cliff.

Annabeth was hanging on to a small ledge, looking scared. She was too far down to climb back up, and too high to let go. If she did let go, she would fall hundreds of feet into a foggy mist, and that didn't sound very fun, so she held onto the ledge with one hand.

Celeste frowned. She didn't have a rope. "Hold on," Celeste said. She began carefully climbing down the cliff to get Annabeth.
