Maddie gave up on falling asleep, and just sat near the campfire, trying to talk to Aphrodite. "Hey...mom...can you hear me?"
No reply.
"I don't want to just be talking to a campfire..." Maddie said. "But here it goes. I know I don't talk to you a lot, but I need to ask you a favor, okay? Is that okay? Are you okay with that?"

Moon smiled a bit. "I like this idea..."

"Whatever," Maddie sighed. "I just wanted to ask you to help me sort out my emotions, or at least let me recognize them. I don't know when I'm happy or sad, or angry or confused. So...just please help me. I don't care if you have to put a spell on me or whatever...just...help."
