 Should traps be banned from tournaments?

I was watching a few tournament race re-runs and the general impression I got wasn't good. Most of the bunnies that won had either a "great bouncing starter" or those strange rocket shenanigans. Seems like a big sham to me, and I feel like traps shouldn't be included in tournaments because they're overpowered. haha
