Clans vs. Clans (CvC)

Challenge other clans, negotiate your plants, seize territories, and finish first!

Introduction

The entire BunnyRace team is excited to present "Clans vs. Clans" (CvC). This new feature dedicated to clans will significantly increase your end-of-session rewards, but that's not all! CvC will highlight your team spirit and strategic thinking to conquer the territory map and finish at the top of the leaderboard.

Let's get down to business!

Game Principle

The goal of CvC is simple. Cooperate with your clan to take control of as many sectors on the territory map as possible. Keep your sectors for as long as possible to earn maximum points and resources throughout the session. Use your points to climb the ranking and your resources to obtain various items for your personal game.

Let's dive into the details of the competition!

What is the Territory Map?

Each territory map consists of two, three, or four clans. The clans you face are determined based on your overall ranking in the previous session. The maps change every session.

A map is made up of numerous sectors, forming territories. Each sector offers resources associated with its type of territory:

Territory earthy

Territory vegetal

Territory arid

Territory sandy

Territory rocky

Each sector can be empty or consist of a natural object. Each natural object also provides associated resources:

Gem mine

Quarry

Wooded terrain

Exotic trees

Each natural object can be paired with a second natural object. Their effects accumulate.

Choosing your sectors is a matter of strategy and thought. Coordinate with your clan to make the right choices.

How to Take Over a Sector?

Each player has 10 attempts maximum. A new attempt is granted every 20 minutes. Choose the sector of your choice to try to take control. A sector is acquired by a clan when 20 attempts by the clan succeed. Cooperation and synchronization with your clan are therefore crucial to conquer as many sectors as possible.

To succeed in an attempt, you must negotiate.

Can I Take Any Sector I Want?

You can only attempt to annex sectors adjacent to the sectors your clan already owns. Therefore, if a sector is very interesting for your clan, don't hesitate to take possession of all adjacent sectors to make it more difficult for another clan to take it back.

What is a Negotiation?

Your gardening skills will undoubtedly come in handy. A negotiation consists of 5 characters, each wishing for a specific plant. Find their wish in only three rounds, and your attempt will be validated.

The colors help you know if you are on the right track:

  • The red indicates that none of the characters wants this plant, too bad!

  • The green indicates that this character wanted this plant, well done!

  • The orange indicates that another character wanted this plant, close!

Didn't succeed? Don't worry, if you want, you can spend the sum of 15 Gems to get an additional round.

Keep in mind that each round costs you plants: you must pay for each plant you attempt to negotiate.

Each successful attempt increases your personal combo. The higher your combo, the more complex your next attempt will be to solve. The personal combo resets every night.

Bingo! Our clan just acquired a sector!

Congratulations! Note that a freshly obtained sector is blocked for 4 hours. During this time, no clan can recover this sector.

Each sector earns your clan points every hour, as well as resources regularly.

Hovering over a sector, you will learn plenty of information.

Once your sector is unlocked, remember to build a fortification tower for a few resources. They increase the difficulty of attempts for clans trying to steal the sector! They also provide additional points every hour to your clan.

Where do the resources earned by our clan go?

The resources you collect from your sectors are directly stored in your clan's treasury. But be careful, your treasury is not unlimited. To store more resources, you need to upgrade your treasury. By upgrading it, you will also unlock new rewards.

Rewards? What kind?

By accumulating resources, you can obtain rewards. Visit your camp to learn more.

Various different rewards can be unlocked as you upgrade your treasury.

The rewards are chosen by the clan leader during the session. Rewards cannot be distributed between two sessions. Communicate with each other and agree on the most useful rewards: each clan can choose only 3 rewards per session. This number can be improved by increasing your clan's level.

Depending on your resource stock, you may need to make a choice during certain sessions between rewards or upgrading the treasury to enjoy new rewards. The larger your clan grows, the easier it will be for you to obtain increasingly interesting rewards.

Clan Leader

To avoid any unwanted actions, only the clan leader is allowed to perform certain actions. Building a tower, upgrading the treasury, and choosing session rewards are reserved for the clan leader. Of course, communication within the clan is essential to ensure good cohesion and a better ranking!

Speaking of ranking...

The ranking of the territories map is based on the number of points collected.

Many actions allow your clan to earn points, in addition to the sectors in your possession: successful attempt, building a tower, upgrading the treasury, choosing a camp reward.

Depending on your final ranking at the end of the session, your clan wins clan power as well as a significant bonus that increases the coins earned at the end of the session.

The overall session ranking remains unchanged and is not affected by CvC. In a future phase, we will study the impact, appreciation, and participation rate of CvC to decide their impact on the overall ranking.

Conclusion

The territories map, combined with your clan level, can allow you to win interesting rewards and increase the efficiency of your personal game over the sessions. By putting your gardening talents and cohesion at the service of the clan, you can achieve great performances.

Adjustments

This new feature represents a significant change on BunnyRace, and we are aware of it. Therefore, we will likely need to make several adjustments in the days, weeks, and months to come. These adjustments are not yet defined and may include, but are not limited to: different clan power quotas, different clan level bonuses, different clan resource quotas, territories map game settings, etc.

Clan Survey

These new features were developed in line with the clan survey that was sent to you earlier this year. With an impressive number of responses (73% of active players responded), we were able to leverage it. Here are some results related to this new feature:
  • 74% of respondents not part of a clan would be interested if the rewards were more attractive: so we offered the possibility to choose prizes from a wide selection, not to mention the multiple rewards offered throughout the session by participating in the territories map.

  • 76% of respondents were interested in collaboration and teamwork aspects within clans: so we increased the need for cohesion within the clan. Conquering territories is not just about your gardening skills but mainly about your team spirit.

  • Favored by 56% of respondents, we have implemented a real-time clan chat accessible from the territories map to facilitate your communication and organization.

  • 67% of respondents were interested in group clan competitions based on their ranking: since CvC is based each month on the overall ranking of the previous session, the competition is different each time, depending on the new parameters of the map for the month.

Evolution

The launch of Clans vs. Clans opens the door to many evolutions on this feature. It is important to note that CvC will be in constant evolution. While we plan many basic adjustments to the existing ones in the coming months, we already have many evolutions in mind for 2024, such as new ways to achieve attempts other than through negotiation, obtaining new defensive buildings for your sectors, seasonal special sessions with challenges to complete.

Competition Launch

The first session of December will be exceptional. To allow us to implement this novelty correctly without interfering with the clan session, CvC will only start from December 16th, during the day. At launch, there will be a game interruption for several minutes.

Of course, we will keep you informed of the changes and adjustments we plan to allow you to adapt your way of playing better and remain the master of your game.

We hope you will enjoy Clans vs. Clans as much as we have been passionate about it!
