World Emoji Day - July 16 2021

World Emoji Day
Every July 17, the world celebrates "World Emoji Day", the World Emoji Day. We are convinced that - knowing - your day will be greatly changed ☺ ...
For those who live on another planet, remember that emojis (and their ancestors the emoticons), are these small icons that you use to punctuate your messages exchanged by SMS or on messaging applications.
July 17
Why celebrate this day on July 17? Simply because it's the date that is displayed on the “calendar” emoji for iOS and Android phones. Just look at your phone. Unfortunately, this is not true on all phones.
A little history
Emojis were born in 1999 (their emoticon ancestors date back to 1982) thanks to a Japanese telephone operator.
Apple introduced the Unicode Standard keyboard whose language allows the creation of emojis in 2011, which has largely contributed to their success. According to some studies (there are really bored researchers!), We send more than 6 billion emojis every day! For that alone, a dedicated world day was needed ...
