For want of having been identified in time, this (flying) day only appeared on our site in 2015 ...
and yet it has existed, at least across the Atlantic, since 2001.

But then, what is it for? According to the distinguished ufologist who transmitted this information to us, its raison d'être is mainly to raise awareness of the unmistakable existence (sic) of UFOs and intelligent beings in space (no less).

To conclude in a good mood, remember that it is the WUFODO (World Organization of UFO Day) which declared July 2 as the official day of UFO Day. This was done in order to avoid confusion (you never know with unbelievers).
